This is really simple: Jesus didn't condemn gay people. If you're anti-gay, don't blame Jesus. Own your bigotry.

    Actually, Christ did speak out against homosexuality, as a doctrine of his religion. It's a part of him being a Jewish Rabbi. He affirmed the Old Testament and its moral code.
    "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill." ~Matthew 5:17

    As for his spoken words on sexual immorality, He said, "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." ~Matthew 5:28
    Note that the logic implied in this quote condemns *all* forms of sexual lust, including homosexual lust.

    And then there's the point that Paul the Apostle (who Christ personally appeared to as a resurrected being during Paul's trip to Damascus), and was a highly educated in Jewish religion and philosophy (which Christ and his religion are schism (meaning a break-off group) of), wrote at length about the immorality of homosexual behavior.

    "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind," ~1 Corinthians 6:9

    " For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." ~Romans 1:26-27

    "Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;" ~1 Timothy 1:26-27

    1. Nice try, but this series of rationalizations don't contradict the central point: Jesus didn't condemn gay people. It would be nice of you followed his example.
